Omg so happy to see a comment from you! Thanks, Kim. It's been a really interesting process so far using the same techniques we use in documentaries to examine my own life and history. Getting a much better idea of it feels like when someone agrees to share their stories with us on camera :)

I need to know what happens next in this story! But also, yes to both!

Good god this post was a treasure trove. This writing and the story, yes, obviously, I can't wait to see how THIS turns out, but the bonus material was stellar. I already feel better at the start of my day having seen a mid-80s fashion montage set to the song I literally wore out the cassette tape of in the mid-80s, and The Cat Came Back is a terrible earworm but one of my favourite earworms so your post inspired me to select it as the song of the morning to torture my teenager with by waking her up playing it on Sonos in her bedroom. Much to thank you for.

Your wish, my command...new post is up about the accident. Steve pointed out that I need to interview my family before I write any more about the accident so wish me luck :D
